Health: Star is in good health. She was underweight when we rescued her, but rescue is treating her well.  

Demeanor: Friendly, playful, affectionate, goofy, lap dog

Likes: Fetch, squeaky toys, dogs, people, walks/being active/outdoors

Manners: Needs basic obedience training, house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, does well in a car  

Activity level: Highly active, needs a fenced yard  

Bio: Star's foster dad describes her as "overly affectionate" and "all about love." She enjoys the outdoors and going in and out throughout the day, but she also loves spending time inside with company. She is the first to join her foster dad on the couch. She is still young and active and enjoys walks, chasing her ball and destroying her squeaky toys to get to the squeaker. She stays uncrated while her dad is at work with no problems other than whining as he leaves. Star loves dogs and playing with dogs, but she doesn't always realize that they are not interested in playing with her. If you're looking for a affectionate, goofy, love bug, Star is your girl!

The adoption fee for Star is $225.00 which includes altering, heartworm testing, vaccines and micro-chipping. We accept applications from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. We also require a $20 application fee. Email  teamBTRTOC@gmail.com with questions.
