Prepare for your heart to melt. Meet Maggie, one of our youngest residents at BTRTOC. Maggie is a Boston mix who steals the hearts of everyone she meets. Maggie is hoping for her forever home.  In the meantime, she is also learning lots of manners, so she can be the perfect pup! Maggie is small, but she is spunky, playful and charming.  She has lived with male and female pups, and is very friendly with them, as well as dogs of different sizes. She has not been observed around cats. Although she has not had any interactions with children under 5, and limited interactions with children 6-12 years of age, she has lived with teenagers, and she loves them. She enjoyed playing, jumping, and chasing the kids she has been around. She has taken as kindly to strangers as she has to children. Maggie loves to give kisses, snuggle with people and pets, go on car rides, play tug, play with toys, and chew on bones. Maggie is slightly startled by loud noises, but it doesn'™t slow her down. She is house trained and crate trained; a smart little lady! She even knows the command 'Âœno bite' when she is playing and forgetting her manners. Maggie'™s foster mom says she is an adorable girl who loves to run with the Âœbig dogs and is very alert. She is learning so much from the older dogs in her home, including how much she loves to eat.
